What kind of car do you drive?Whatever they assign to me. As soon as I hit 4,500 miles, I have to get another one. What is your favorite part of Richmond?Richmond Hill at Christmas, where the old WRVA station used to be. ![]() What is your dream car?I have it. A 1963 Corvette Stingray Split-Window Coupe. It was the only year it was ever made. Favorite writer?I like mysteries. Anything by John Grisham or Dan Brown, or something that is a little bit on the James Bond side. Your favorite country outside of the U.S.?Italy. I think the southwestern coast is my favorite part. Describe your perfect day.I leave the office having left everything else on someone else's plate. If you could live in one particular period of history, which one would it be?The present, or the future. I have no interest in moving backwards. What is your motto?I don't have a motto, but my mantra is: I want to make a difference. Fill in the blank: Richmond is ___.Home. ![]() Where did you attend college and what was your major?Princeton University. I majored in social and behavioral psychology. What is your idea of earthly happiness?My family, dog and the beach. And time to enjoy all of those. Why did you decide to go into the automobile business?The car business is one that moves rapidly. I find the speed of entrepreneurial business very addictive. Is there a TV show you watch religiously?Any of the criminal dramas - "Law and Order", "C.S.I.", JAG. What is your proudest accomplishment?I have not done it yet. Where do you see Richmond 10 years from now?I truly believe that despite all its bumps and grinds, Richmond will make it to the next level. I think the growth is going to be exponential. What do you admire most in a person?I admire the command of a lot of facts about diverse subjects. People who are learned about different things and can integrate all of that. What do you regard as the lowest depth of human misery?Children experiencing hunger. What is your favorite Richmond restaurant?I don't have a specific favorite, but all of them are typified by outstanding service. What can't you live without?Being mentally occupied. Who is your hero?Anyone who does the right thing in a difficult situation. The President, Robin Star of SPCA, and the Ukrops are some examples.
